Q: My hp pavilion dv9000 power it up it Start up but screen is black/off, the power light flashes, the Blue light around inserted AC is on. And then shuts down. Over and over. After about 5-10 minutes, it will finally boot. How to solve this issue?
A: 1. To unscrew hard drive cover and memory cover, to take out the hard drive, and put it back in,
2. Disconnect the wireless card's grays and black wires, unscrew it, take the wireless card out, put it back in, reconnect the wires, and put the cover back on the memory and the hard drive areas.
3. Some times laptop has a bad connection on the memory slot ( the slot of near motherboard )
You can find the bad memory slot when you only install one piece memory and exchange the slot.
This is a known problem by HP: The reason specified on their service ticket reads: "Failure : APOLLO AND ATLANTIS MOTHERBOARD ISSUE"
