Acer Aspire 5253 Troubleshooting

Q: Hello, i need help. My laptops. It will not start. When the AC Adapter is inserted, the battery LED lights up. I press the ON button, the num lock light flashes once, the cd / dvd / drive lights up and the fan starts. But I heard a click sound .. my laptop would not open! what happened?....


A:If you know the battery works then take it out, and hold down the power button for 20 seconds. Next put the battery back in and plug in the power cord
