Lightbulb When I make a memory test on my “HP 8510p”, why it would shut down suddenly?

Q:
At that time, I was testing my 2GB RAM with the system accompanied memory test software, and then the fan rotated like crazy. 10 minutes later, the laptop powered off automatically. Could it be the reason that the temperatureis too high? But there’s such symptom before I refreshed BIOS. Anyone had the same problem as mine? How to deal with it?
