Default Backup Blu-ray to Apple TV 4K with 7.1 channels on Mac

When you got new Apple TV 4K, what would you do first? Aha..,open the box first. Seriously, I would enjoy my favorite Blu-ray collections on it first! However, you should know some more information below first.*

Apple TV 4K Supported Video/Audio File Formats/Codecs*

Apple TV 4K supports the following video and audio file formats and codecs. Before playing a Blu-ray on Apple TV 4K, you'd better make sure that its format is included in the following Apple TV compatible file formats list. If not, a Blu-ray ripper that can convert Blu-rays to Apple TV 4K playable formats is a necessity.*

Apple TV 4K supported video formats:*

-H.264/HEVC SDR video up to 2160p, 60 fps, Main/Main 10 profile

-HEVC Dolby Vision (Profile 5)/HDR10 (Main 10 profile) up to 2160p

-H.264 Baseline Profile level 3.0 or lower with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats

-MPEG-4 video up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 fps, Simple profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats

Audio Formats

-HE-AAC (V1), AAC (up to 320 Kbps), protected AAC (from iTunes Store), MP3 (up to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Apple Lossless, FLAC, AIFF, and WAV; AC-3 (Dolby Digital 5.1) and E-AC-3 (Dolby Digital Plus 7.1 surround sound)

As you can see, Apple TV 4K supported video file formats are very limited, Blu-ray disc or even the decrypted Blu-ray rips can’t be supported by Apple TV 4K. Of course, most of you are not about to pay iTunes’ ridiculous prices to watch movies and TV shows that you already own on your Blu-ray. Instead, you’ll just rip those Blu-ray discs to an Apple TV 4K friendly format. The best solution is to rip and convert Blu-ray to iTunes compatible format, then sync to Apple TV 4K for playback without any limit. Below is how to.*

Here I found a very useful Blu-ray ripper for you,Pavtube ByteCopy for Mac, it can help you convert Blu-ray to iTunes compatible format then sync to ATV 4K for smoothlt playback without any limitation and there is no quality loss when compared to playing the discs themselves. The sound can be kept with the original 7.1 channels surround sound. For ripping Blu-ray to iTunes for ATV 4K on Windows, please turn to*Pavtube ByteCopy*for Windows.*
